The add-on works as a Connector between SAP Business One and Avalara, integrating the Avalara functionalities into SAP for tax calculations. You have to configure the connection information at the Add-On Connection Setup. Go To the Avatax->Connection Setup menu.

Company Code

Complete your Avatax Company Code to match the Company Code defined at the Avalara admin portal, as shown in this sample:

You can connect the add-on to your Avalara Sandbox account if you have one or your Production account. Use the following Avatax URL:

Connection credentials

To authenticate against Avalara you need to provide your access credentials. You can either use an Account login by using an Account Id and License key, or authenticate by user, providing your User name and password. This information is provided to you by your Avalara Account Manager. You can test the connection settings by clicking the Test Connection button. If your settings are ok you will get the succeed message as shown here, or an error detailing the issue.
